Belle Tire Players Gone Pro

Ryan Mantha - has signed a 3 year entry level contract with the Edmonton Oilers. Ryan was a 4th round selection of the New York Ranger in the 2014 NHL draft and was in his 3rd season with the Niagra Ice Dogs (OHL). Ryan a Clarkston native is the 5th member of the Belle Tire 1996 team to sign an NHL contact.

Brenden Perlini -  was a first round draft pick for the Phoenix Cyotes in 2014. Brenden's NHL debut on December 5, 2016 made him the 4th player from Joe Smaza's 1996 Belle Tire Bantam AAA National Championship team.

Kyle Connors - after leading the NCAA in scoring his freshman year at Michigan Kyle will be playing for the Winnipeg Jet for the 2016-17 season. Kyle had 3 goals and 1 assist in the 4 preseason games he played for the Jets. He was a first round draft pick in 2015. Kyle was on the Belle Tire 1996 National Championship Team.

Dylan Larkin- Dylan is a Detroit Red WIng, at the age of 19 Dylan was the youngest Red Wing to make the NHL All Star Team. For the 2016-17 Season Dylan will be playing 1st line center. Dylan was on the Belle Tire 1996 National Championship Team.

Zack Werenski - after playing 2 seasons at Michigan and the Captain of this years USA World Jr Team Zack is now a Columbus Blue Jacket. For the 2016-17 season Zack will be on the first defensive line. Zack was on the Belle Tire 1996 National Championship Team.

Torey Krug - was a captain and outstanding defenseman for Michigan State now plays for the Boston Bruins. Torey has developed into one of the NHL's top defensive players. Torey was the captain of the Belle Tire 1991 National Championship Team.
